Its not really much of an effect, I just took photos and filmed the same thing. When I was putting the video together I decided to use both since I was lacking interviews and needed help telling the story. Since photos tell stories, I let them tell the story by putting them before the video clips.
Could you explain what you did to create the still effect then video.
